ACLU vs. Peasant Epistemology

Step 1: ACLU is founded by communists.

Step 2: Americans are all like, "How did the ACLU get so communist??!" Except the part where they don't recognize communism as communism and think it's Woke or whatever. Names anti-rectified. Orwell isn't spinning in his grave because he's already spun so much he wore away to nothing. Poor guy thought America was anti-Fascist lol

Fun Fact: De Tocqueville noticed America had a full-blown cancel culture by 1835. Free speech in America is nothing but a myth, and I think I'm going to say fake speech is worse than no speech. It's not good when the government disguises its diktats as popular voice. Something something Satan's epithets.
Took until 2015 for Americans to notice a problem. This is about right. Peasants are extremely stupid, but not literally brain-dead. They do catch on. Eventually.
But, also, inevitably. The peasants still remember the year of five emperors, which is much of why alleged-democracy is stable. Someone should have murdered their way to the top a long time ago, except the part where even peasants have grasped how such behaviour doesn't work out and won't play ball.

Maybe in another 40-50 years American peasants will start noticing that communism is communist, though by that time it America will be so blatantly communist that the subtleties will be irrelevant.

Confirmation bias isn't really a bias in a peasant. They can't think for themselves; instead they need to guard against accidentally attempting to think for themselves, because they're too stupid and will only screw it up. Hence, they only agree with evidence that their lord has allowed them to agree with. A peasant who can't even stay with the herd is a shitty(er) peasant and is going to get wrecked. The brighter peasants play a game where they try to guess what the lord will order them to think, but ultimately they all fall in line.
This may well be true of most "biases" the alleged scientists have found, not just confirmation. If you run into a Conquest #1 area, all of a sudden none of them seem to apply. (Doesn't even mention compartmentalization, one of the most useful anti-autosabotage biases.)
"Peasants aren't very good at thinking."
"You don't say."
"Yeah, especially about things they don't care about, have no influence over, and only contact through words."
"Genius. How do you do it."

Truly American science is a wonder. In a sense.

You've heard of the Sokal hoax and that one time they got search-and-replaced Mein Kampf accepted.

I'm going to eat everything that upsets my digestion and then shit on a stack of paper. If I call it a dadaist art piece, do you think a postmodernism journal will accept it? I mean, it would be the smartest thing in their journal all year, so...

The 'peasants are so dumb' blah, blah blah is getting so damn wore out.

As peasants, we do not have the time, or energy, or wherewithal to go to all 52,482 web blogs, news sources, aggregates, research archives AND InfoWars in order to reach that esteemed level of enlightenment (dark or otherwise) that you and others of your ilk have.

I AM here reading your blog, and many others, but for every me there are several thousand others who only stare stupidly at BBC, NBC, CNN and now even more so DimTwit and FaceBrainWash.

How are they to be reached?
You are an enlightening voice in the wilderness I hear as I pass by. I feel very powerless, and frustrated, but I'm not stupid. I think in the United States there were nearly 80 million of us who have ended up here also.

They're stupid enough, but most gallerists will remember "shit as art" from the mid-70s or thereabouts, so it would need to be contrived beyond mere spontaneity to get their precious and unwarranted expertise titillated. This sort with the stack of paper would by now be useful only to dying shit-fetishists--and they'd pay too, because just yesterday was this horror of virtul dommes selling their scorn and robbing sick people's savings accounts. I read it and then Nick posted it, with the amusing quip "So pure": https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/10/style/findom-kink.html.

There's an African 'painter' Chris Ofili, whose things I've seen in galleries, and who has sold his paintings with huge chunks of elephant shit stuck on them for over 20 years. Wonderful how refined such use of shit in art has gotten in a mere 45 or so years.

I guess he dries them and glues big chunks of it on the canvas. He obviously wants his 'meaning' to be taken seriously, but all you see is the disgusting shit. An ex-friend who also fancies herself an artist (and makes money from totally repetitious nonsense arranged dolls and religious figures and painting them in pastels on huge canvasses) got angry when I wouldn't call it "elephant dung" rather than "elephant shit". I hate her work too. Back in the Giuliani days, there was also "Piss Christ".

You don't reach peasants.
In America, you don't even reach their lords. Nothing is to be done. Nobody is to be reached. The fundamental theorem of history is: history repeats.

Don't like being dumb? Take it up with God. Complaining to me, as if I had anything to do with it, is not a useful way to spend time. Arguments of the form 'nuh uh' don't have scholastic value.

ProTip: if you don't like something, you're allowed to stop reading it. I have shared this bit of wisdom often, so I know it may be difficult to grasp. Clearly I'm supposed to cast it as mandatory-or-forbidden and say reading my blog is somehow banned, but unfortunately I refuse to lie.
