Being very thorough myself, let me ask again: what needs to change about society so you can be satisfied with it? What it is missing? What needs are unmet? What desires can't be pursued?

My initial inclination was social cohesion, but frankly the answer to that is to check out and build a parallel system. Just requires discipline and not being a retard.
I'll add my number 2, how unsufferably ugly contemporary art/architecture has become. Again not an unsolvable problem, but I'm curious what your opinions on the matter would be. Maybe general aesthetic preferences?

The architecture is ugly on purpose. Deliberate demoralization; the tyrant is weak and is terrified of the peasantry. Desperate to weaken them even a little bit more. Secondly to prove, against egalitarianism, they really are the tyrant and not one of the tyrannized.
Again you can fix this yourself, provided you are sufficiently rich. Be the guy who commissions the buildings, rather than having to live in someone else's.

Un-subsidizing GM would probably fix it, but at this point I was to simply ban cars and trucks. Big nope.
It's funny, the tyrant has to be terrified of hurting the peasantry. Can't just shut down GM by fiat. Reverse causation: Fascists say they're in it for salus populi, but in fact they can't withstand any real dissent. Can't buy that security.

Shows the problem with central planning is largely personnel is policy. A king doesn't try to centrally plan things he can't plan, but as it happens he can plan quite a lot if he wants.

Yeah probably, I'll cop to that. I grew up in Bavaria, it really is a beautiful place. I look back on my childhood there with fondness. If you've never been I can't recommend it enough. Southern Bavaria is the closest place to an actual fairytale you can find on Earth. And yes a lot of the royal architecture is gaudy, but frankly I'll take it over modernist garbage any day.
'central planning doesn't work'/'competition is good' is really 'direct action doesn't work' and 'we have to wait for consensus/studies/evidence/reports' which means 'other people do work'.
