School, as Opposed to Learning or Discovery

https://www.etymonline.com/search?q=school

"This is from Greek skholē "spare time, leisure, rest, ease; idleness;"

Athens was a place of learning. In this learning place, skol meant to not-work. The archetype was a quiet garden. Outside, in other words.

A Prussian/American school is the exact perversion of this. It would take dedication and research for it to be more of the opposite of the Greek version.
