Plato: "An unexamined life is not worth living."

Plumber: "An unplumbed house is not worth living in."

Yep.

There's nothing at all wrong with the type of "Just do what God says and be thankful" type of existence.
Oh, house flooded and one of my children died? God's will, I still have my health - therefore, it's all good. No need for self reflection.


Although, can one come to this conclusion without examining ones life in the first place?
