The Final Roots of Decay & Inevitability

In reality, Fascism has known nothing but constant failure from its inception. Stone age economics barely work even in a paleolithic society. Not even slightly competitive. However, the Sophists have been able to paper over their failures using two things. The first: lies, as per Sophist doctrine, especially the Plot of the State Enemy. The second: jumping in front of the technological progress train and taking credit for having pulled it where it was already going.

The first problem: lies are a non-renewable resource.
The second problem: Sophism chokes off progress. 

Peasants are dumb, but given enough exposure, even they work out a lie is a falsehood. Any society which uses lies as a foundation has an expiration date. 

Sophists deal with this by chaining lies one into another. E.g. the DNC will force the RNC to take ownership of an old, stale lie, then "defeat" the RNC using a shiny new lie which "discredits" the old lie. This resets the expiration clock. However, there are a finite number of ideas of low enough Kolmogorov complexity to fit inside election propaganda. The peasants hold a grudge against the old lies, blaming them for their present misery; they can rarely be re-used. Eventually the DNC would have to change their behaviour rather than merely changing their camouflage. They would literally rather die, so...

P.S. Christianity dealt with this by trying to stick to low-impact lies. If, ultimately, it doesn't matter if the lie is true or not (e.g. trinity) then evidence against it accumulates very slowly. However, eventually even the peasants work out the only downside to not paying your tithe is that priests whine at you like the little bitch parasites that they are.

 

GDP is basically interest. You invest labour and capital, and there is some return. Technological advancement is merely one name and one kind of investment. The return allows you to invest all the labour required for maintenance and yet have some left over to invest again, increasing the return. There may be a limit to this process, but this is wholly theoretical; there is not a shred of evidence of such a limit. If it exists, it must be far away.

The workers invest. Parasites take credit for the results of this investment, because the workers are comically gullible retards who will buy just about any story as long as you promise to say that you're their friend. (Not like those meany billionaires that we invite to our parties. They're so mean! You can tell, because you're jealous of the billionaire. You wouldn't be jealous of a nice person, would you? That would be mean, and there's no way you're mean. That's just right out. By process of elimination, the nasty billionaire must be a bad guy. Hmph!)

The parasites parlay this credit into political capital, which they spend to seize the investment. At first, they seize less investment than the increase in return. However, this results in parasitism being profitable, which results in workers changing job to parasite, which results in less investment and greater costs. Eventually the parasite class seizes so much investment that the investment is going in reverse. After paying off the parasites, there is no longer enough labour to pay for maintenance. Result: decay.

In other words the parasites start WWII, the workers win WWII, and the parasites use this to justify installing a welfare state, which prevents the workers from being able to afford a war. They can't even afford a slight economic jolt. The State is cancer. It grows until it kills its host.

However, the workers remain comically gullible retards. They will allow the parasite class to secure the blood sucking at the workers' own expense, which only accelerates the negative economic feedback loop. Hence Rome's population dropped by 90%. Every time Rome's population dropped, it lost workers, not parasites, meaning the unsustainable imbalance remained, so it lost more workers... The parasites will refuse to let go, and the workers will do nothing but cry about it and, in extremis, starve to death. Eventually Rome's economy became so simple that the blood-sucking behaviour couldn't be disguised even from workers, whereupon they finally addressed the parasite infection. 

It likely wasn't that difficult by this time. The parasites can leave and latch onto a different host, after all. Parasites don't benefit from roots. The only thing stopping them from latching onto the juiciest host is a pre-existing parasite overburden.

Alt-Facists are Fascists

When someone flings an accusation, the first thing to check for is projection. Are they in fact talking about themselves?

The online right is constantly telling us that high-church Fascists are true believers. This is because online rightists are (nearly) true believers in their own cant. 

Properly speaking, a cult refers to a sub-cult of an existing religion. A variant belief. I call Americoid rightists [less-leftists] because, while they are not mainline Fascists, they are a Fascist cult.

The less-left are low in openness, which means "authoritarian," or rather, conformist. To be non-Fascist would mean being non-conformist in a way fundamentally opposed to their character. Invention is a high-openness activity, meaning they can only choose to conform to some existing major religion. Unfortunately, all the options are false, so the online right has caught itself in a catch-22. They have accidentally uncovered the hidden truths, but can't convert away without contravening their own most fundamental character traits. They hate new ideas but have no choice but to accept lies or new ideas.

Moldbug, a menshevik, was an exemplar. Better lies for the more discerning customer. The low-O must preserve as many old ideas as possible; the Moldbug market is a niche that felt forced to reject a few more ideas than usual.

All Fascists are narcissists, either inherently or performatively. Less-leftists conform to narcissism, and thus prefer to engage in futile ego games, in self-deception, rather than humble themselves before Gnon. 

Fascism is a very elegantly designed trap. Sophists do this sort of thing on purpose.

This is why they hate "black" pills so much. The more discerning customer can't quite get rid of the nagging awareness of lying to themselves. When the outside world exactly repeats the words of the small inner voice, it's utterly maddening.

Why is the idea that Fascism is doomed a "black" pill to them? Alt-Fascists are still Fascists.

Centralization is Decay

A healthy society can survive without a central authority. 

As a society sickens, it finds it needs to centralize to accomplish tasks that used to be handled naturally. As with all palliative treatments, this only accelerates the disease. Among many other pathologies, the centre has a principal/agent problem with regard to the rest of the society. Rather than solving issues the society can no longer solve without the crutch, the centre exists to aggrandize itself. 

Fun fact: [authority] is itself is a weasel word. Truth has authority. Humans can be messengers of authority if they speak the truth. The central "authority" would be more accurately called a bully. A society needs a central master when it can no longer take care of itself without being bullied into doing so.

Musings on Apparently, Nihilism Time Again

Have I beaten the nihilism horse to death yet? Let's check.

 

The major intellectual barrier isn't IQ. It's politics and personality disorders (but I repeat myself). Cope, in other words. Strategically pretending not to know. 

In the short term and narrow scope, it may surprise you to notice it's fine. The liar knows the truth they're concealing. Saying the truth, in the short term and narrow scope, is not necessary; it is merely important to behave as if the truth is true. Conquest #1 obtains, so they do so behave. Woo.
However, widening the scope even a little shows us that it's impossible to build on a foundation of lies. It crumbles, destroying the building. It is critical to speak the known truth such that our future selves can know their future truths. 

Those with personality disorders need to justify the horrible things they do, especially to themselves. Moral nihilism allows you to quit the justifying habit. Just do horrible things, then think and say the truth anyway. With few exceptions, the lying is the worst part of a personality disorder by far. They're actively making themselves worse due to Christian/etc moralizing. (Which is of course not unintended.) Satan punishes sinners with falsehoods as his revenge against Gnon for making him punish sinners. (Gnon laughs. Sinners don't.) 

IQ seems to be important because the liar and the inhabitant of a liar culture must figure out everything themselves. Shocking news: someone with a higher IQ can penetrate more mysteries. Likewise, someone who does their reps can penetrate more mysteries.

(If you're willing to be taught this process goes much faster, but how do you thresh the Sophist chaff from the wise wheat, except by already having been wise? Answer: you don't. Notably, coercive government is always Satanist, because coercion is always defection, which means they always favour Sophists over wise men.)

"Trying to be outraged when "my" side does bad things to its enemies is hard. Much easier to be accepting when the other side does bad things to its enemies."

Secure your shit. Being a victim is a sin. 

When someone commits an "outrage" it means they thought it would work and they would get away with it. Primarily that's Gnon's fault, not the actor's fault. Checksum: if they didn't get away with it, it wouldn't be an [outrage]; grass monkeys would love it instead for the chance to dunk on their enemies. 

The feeling of outrage was always fake. 

If you don't like being "outraged" on, then make it impossible and unwise. In other words, petition Gnon a prayer for immunity, using the kind of prayer Gnon likes best: big guns, thick walls, alert sentries, and responsible generals. (I personally focus on having an alert sentry and not standing in the fire. Plenty of non-fire space to stand in.)

When you're not a moral nihilist, you think "denouncing" an act is an effective prayer to Gnon. Gnon finds it only effective comedy. He will actively encourage others to "outrage" upon you, because you've neglected that whole "walls" thing. Being a victim is the victim's own fault. 

I don't find it effective comedy. I find it to be disgusting heresy and if I never see any again it will be too soon. 

I guess I'm antipacifist. Someone who is willing to fight gets the benefit of the doubt. Someone who is only willing to talk does not. 

Those denouncing "outrages" are obviously lead around by politics/narcissism. In other words, if the "outrage" becomes a good idea, they can't do it. 

E.g. the Spanish Inquisition did more good than harm according to the moral precepts of those denouncing it. It saved vastly more witches than it killed - which was probably dysgenic, ironically. A modern explicit, responsible inquisition would almost certainly produce a huge boost to GDP, in the same way the faltering Roman economy was stabilized by Diocletian's reforms, which regularized the tax burden. Of course, that case did, and this case would, only delay the inevitable death to Fascist cancerous growth.

E.g. some online rightists, unable to call a spade a spade, are denouncing the genuinely antisocial economic policies of the Regime as "Capitalism." In the unlikely event that some of them aren't losers, this will only make it more difficult for them to implement their own healthy economy. 

Concealing a problem makes it worse. Amuses Gnon, though. If your purpose in life is to be a clown, then I recommend it.

"You owe me!"

Yeah, no I don't. You have to get so outraged about it because you don't have a contract, and you don't have a contract because you know damn fine I wouldn't have signed it.

Caveat: occasionally children get caught by misunderstandings and implicit contracts. Adults have no such excuse.

I think I figured out why morality appears to have its own conscious-phenomenal tag.

Morals in fact refers to mores which is merely customs but in Latin. The "morals" of a place are merely their customary behaviour. The only real rule is that once someone expects you to behave a certain way, it's polite to do so unless you inform them of a discrepancy in advance. Don't willingly (and especially unnecessarily) hand out unpleasant surprises to those who are supposed to be your friends.

However, customs becomes identity. You stop wearing yarmulkes because they keep your head warm and start wearing them because you're the yarmulke-wearing people. And then narcissists get very activated about identity. (Or you become the yarmulke-wearing people because narcissists get very activated about identity?)

Then "morality" becomes something you must follow to remain who you are, even though it's really, really not. The feeling of morality isn't morality at all, but tribal loyalty and ego fortification. Morality doesn't exist anywhere, let alone on the Savannah, but tribes and egos exist everywhere.

E.g. for secular humanists, only monsters can murder. (And unprincipled exceptions aside, all homicide is murder.) To kill someone is to give up your [humanity]. Fractally absurd, but there is it. If you sincerely believe this nonsense, contemplating a slaying will feel dissonant as you see a mismatch between your ego and the act. (As per usual, "selflessness" is particularly self-absorbed.)

P.S. I guess narcissism is tied up in obedience. [Thou shalt not kill] is a commandment, and then the narcissist becomes what they're commanded to be, in their own minds.

Fascism Shows Impiety Toward Fascism

E.g. fundamentally "materialism" refers to a radical lack of piety. E.g. they make their buildings ugly to try to convince you that Existence is ugly.

Fascists are so fanatical precisely because they're aware they're not pious. They lack confidence in their own alleged faith, and feel the need to frantically cover up their own lack of credence.

Piety requires humility. The key feature of the higher power is the "higher" part, more than the power part. Narcissism, a key feature of egalitarianism (or vice-versa?), is behaving exactly contrary to humility. Humanism means worship of the human, it means saying the "higher" power is yourself. Utopianism is the opposite of humility; it is the precept that the physical world can never be good enough. 

Kind of a problem if you don't believe in any non-physical world.

If Fascists genuinely held credence in Fascism, they wouldn't be so very sensitive to slights. The pious do not despair; ultimately the heavens can take care of themselves. The pious would believe Fascism could survive a few mistakes or failures in effort here and there. In reality, Fascists behave as if even one "racist" can spoil the whole project. 

If anything, Fascists have faith in Sha'itan, the adversary. They have true faith in the demiurge. They believe Ialdobaoth will sponsor even a single apostate to the degree that he can overpower the religion even if every other human is a believer. Billions-to-one odds? Trillions? What do ratios mean before the power of a god?

They have faith that humans have only works, and all their works will be brought to nought. Which makes sense, as they are rebelling against Gnon. All their works will indeed be brought to nought. 

Fascists believe Earth is Hell, and they have been justly condemned to it. They worship the Devil, and hate him for having every right to keep them imprisoned in torment.
In general, the narcissist is unlovable. In general, the narcissists doesn't deserve God's mercy.

I Blame Christianity for Identity Politics and Atomization

Did you feel there was something off about the "rise" of identity politics? Duh, it did not rise. It's just Rome again: greens vs. blues. It's called a "rise" by old staid forms of narcissist politics who feel threatened by the new fancy form of narcissist politics. The new new left is excellent at stroking to their storm troopers' delicate egos, after all. They have a clear and thus frightening advantage.

I blame Christianity.
It's a cult. Proof by inspection. 

Cults work through forced application of unreasonable intimacy, in other words they exploit narcissists and narcissism. Christianity gathered a critical mass of narcissists, which they wielded to cleverly traumatize everyone else so they would backslide into narcissism and thus be vulnerable to Christianization. 

Yeshua wasn't supposed to die and they had to scramble like mad to retrofit that event. However, the Cross ended up being a boon from Satan. A torture implement to symbolize a torture cult. Christianity is a tool to torment its "faithful" until they get so internally twisted they believe they deserve to be tortured. 

In other words, until they develop proper narcissist self-hatred and the resulting vulnerability to manipulation. The only way for a narcissist to feel safe is to be surrounded by identical copies of themselves, after all. Identically broken copies.

Being a victim is a sin, so it turns out Yeshua/Satan wasn't wrong about who deserved what. Perhaps, then, I don't [blame] Christianity, exactly.
Bonus round: you can't clean up the narcissism by telling them the truth, because natively the truth merely reinforces the self-hatred that forms the narcissist core. This is due to the disparity between the genetic self-assessment and the Reality of peasant biology. Peasants don't believe peasants are worthy. Peasants don't believe being a peasant is good enough. As long as you get them out of the kto kogo regime, they will tell you as much themselves.

The Woke heresy is merely taking this agony cult to new heights. To properly defeat the Woke would mean to root out the Occident culture's deeply seated respectful worship of narcissism.

Alternatively, gangrenous limbs are to be amputated. In this case, provided you yourself do not suffer from clinical levels of narcissism, you are the healthy tissue. Amputate the rest of the world. It has gone necrotic, and keeping it around for too long will only make you necrotic too. You don't need anyone's permission to stop worshipping narcissism. Once you're able to call a spade a spade, you can just, like, do it. 

 

All demons are narcissist. All devils are narcissist. The centre core of every entity is the fire of existence; devils hate existence, and thus hate their deepest core. Free will is real, thus they lay waste to themselves, turning their soul into nothing more than a gaping wound, aggravating their suffering with self-inflicted suffering. When a devil incarnates as or fully dominates a human, what can the resulting symptoms be, except virulent narcissism?

Cults want to cut you off from your family, and arrogate away the intimacy that properly goes toward familial relations. (Bonus round: peasants believe peasants don't deserve to breed.)

Because of this, if you want genuine social connection, it becomes necessary to cut off the cult, so that you can reconnect, as far as possible, with your family. (The non-narcissist parts, specifically.) The cult needs to be subjected to the punishment it prescribes for others. It's not only important, but necessary to sink to their level. Narcissists always project, after all.

There are roughly 2 billion anglophones. 

There are roughly 1000 anglophones of IQ 178 or higher. 

It would be great if one or two of them were on twitter or ran a blog, but this clearly isn't the case. They're too smart to be caught by such scams.

All Politics is Identity Politics

And all identity politics is narcissism. Because of course it is.

Previously this has been known as tribal politics or, in the case of Orwell, nationalism.

3.  "Indifference to Reality. All nationalists have the power of not seeing resemblances between similar sets of facts. A British Tory will defend self-determination in Europe and oppose it in India with no feeling of inconsistency." Kto kogo.

 

More on 2: when a previously praised tribe causes narcissistic injury to the loyalist, they become a disloyalist.  

I think Orwell's piece would be downright good for the soul with some rectified names. E.g. as with Wells, he throws some well-deserved shade at Chesterton, by which I mean he deals in concrete, falsifiable, relevant examples. 

This is not to say Chesterton couldn't clap back, but... have you heard? Tu quoque is a fallacy. Both sets of accusations would be true. 

"Actions are held to be good or bad, not on their own merits, but according to who does them, and there is almost no kind of outrage – torture, the use of hostages, forced labour, mass deportations, imprisonment without trial, forgery, assassination, the bombing of civilians – which does not change its moral colour when it is committed by ‘our’ side."

One of the reasons I enjoy moral nihilism is that I don't have to be outraged by any of this. Knowing my place, I know I can't encourage or discourage the practices anyway. Kind of none of my business, except insofar as I must secure myself against them. 

Trying to be outraged when "my" side does bad things to its enemies is hard. Much easier to be accepting when the other side does bad things to its enemies. Indeed it's a good thing when they glorify "outrages" because it means they don't cover it up, meaning in turn that I don't have to go looking for what I need to secure myself against. 

Thus I secure myself against the likes of Chesterton. Though not forgetting to also secure myself against Orwell's solecisms...such as his lack of moral nihilism. It's clear that what Orwell considers an outrage is based largely on past political campaigns against his side's enemies, not on what is and is not cooperative or effective. 

"One quite commonly finds that great national leaders, or the founders of nationalist movements, do not even belong to the country they have glorified. Sometimes they are outright foreigners, or more often they come from peripheral areas where nationality is doubtful. Examples are Stalin, Hitler, Napoleon, de Valera, Disraeli, Poincaré, Beaverbrook. The Pan-German movement was in part the creation of an Englishman, Houston Chamberlain."

If the narcissist could get their jollies by telling the truth they wouldn't be a narcissist. The fundamental symptom of narcissism is boundless self-hatred. 

Narcissists create an elaborate fake identity because they're beyond certain their real one would face unlimited rejection. (Ironically, by adulthood, they have no real identity.) In modern times, all the worst white supremacists are some flavour of brown. At best they're trailer trash.
Someone with healthy respect for their true identity doesn't need politics. They quietly work at the shoe and flower store or whatever, rather than showing up in the news. If they're lost enough to attempt politics, the intensely narcissistic vibe will drive them off sooner rather than later. The predisposition causes a selection effect.

As they are crazy, there's some back-feeding too. Foreigner Lenin resented Russia for being foreign, and thus deliberately tried to ruin it. Narcissist Lenin wanted to be "seen," meaning he wanted Russia to hate him as much as he hated himself, which he tried to provoke by causing it damage. Meanwhile facade Lenin tried to shield his dead narcissist soul by raising Lenin cachet as far as possible. Being hated is unpleasant, so he tried to avoid being seen, so he wouldn't be hated. Lenin was a highly skilled narcissist, and socially speaking facade Lenin's manipulations won that tug of war.
Lenin's bottomless self-hatred lent all these desires almost limitless intensity. He simply wanted it more; he was willing to sacrifice everything in a way his rivals weren't quite willing to do. 

Meanwhile, self-hating narcissist Russians felt they deserved to be punished for being so despicable, and cheerfully supported Lenin's narcissist rampage. (Further: see tomorrow's post re: Christianity.) Being ruled by a hostile foreigner let them dissociate with their own identity, and as far as they couldn't dissociate,

If the narcissist were to become genuinely ignorant of their lies, their narcissism would be cured, for they would no longer believe they deserve to be hated.
As such, the narcissist likes to choose topics on which they're ignorant, to minimize cognitive dissonance.
Naturally, this is wildly irresponsible.

Last Psych's favourite - defence against change.

Ha. Women: "Your violence is bad because it's not violent enough to make me wet." Likewise men nodding along with said women for white knighting purposes. The rule is: be aggressive aggressive, not passive aggressive, you pussy.

The correct way to cure a pacifist is to shove them in a locker and then give them an out if they join you. 

I'm not sure what you could possibly use a pacifist for, but if you have a use for them, that's how.
