In India, Government does not fund Hindu holy place only controls them. They just steal the wealth of the temples and the donations that pour into temples by devotees.
Removing that control would be your #1 priority, then. If you allow that to continue, then you willingly participate in a ritual that says the government is higher than your gods.
It’s a coup complete problem, everywhere.
Withdrawing from seized ground is not a coup-complete problem.
