Life is only suffering if you're wedded to falsehood. Almost all pain is the result of your false beliefs running headlong into Reality. Siddhartha was plain wrong. (Or did some Satanist massage his message while writing it down?)

I would argue that one is still suffering, but knowing and understanding the truth keeps one living life within the bearable challenge that suffering evokes..
Short-term thinking. You suffer because you cling to suffering. Upadana.
To think any suffering is not due to delusion is a way of defending the delusion. Admitting you've been delusional hurts the ego. This is paying off the debt you incurred when you took on the delusion in the first place.
While it is true it's impossible to completely eliminate suffering, this is only because it's impossible to completely eliminate delusion, due to the mismatch in size between a mortal mind and the existential universe.
New failcomment system also fails to publish my comments, it's not limited to yours. Keep trying, it will usually work, eventually. Blogger deliberately trying to kill itself, I expect. Captchas should be off. If it gives you one anyway, it's against my explicit instructions.
